BOULDER, Colo. – Humanity’s Team brought spiritual leaders Steve Farrell and Neale Donald Walsch together for Hearts for Humanity, a live global conversation centered on compassion, connection and the possibility of a more conscious future.
A Global Gathering Built Around Participation
The event, held July 16, drew participants from around the world for a gathering organizers designed to be more participatory than a traditional webinar. Attendees were encouraged to contribute questions and help shape the discussion’s tone through their presence and engagement.
Farrell, CEO of Humanity’s Team, and Walsch, the best-selling author known for the Conversations with God series, explored the challenges facing humanity and the choices available to individuals and communities seeking a different path forward. Their conversation focused on living with greater compassion, recognizing shared humanity and moving beyond a culture rooted in separation.
From Extraction to Stewardship
At the center of the discussion was a broad question: What might change if people remembered who they truly are and recognized their connection to one another?
Organizers framed that shift through a series of contrasts. Extraction could become stewardship. Hoarding could become generosity. Loneliness could become belonging. The message presented these changes not as abstract ideals, but as practical responses to the social and emotional pressures affecting communities around the world.
“There is a way, however, to step out of the worst-case scenario that our species so often creates for itself,” Walsch said.
The conversation suggested that lasting change begins by addressing the beliefs and behaviors that create disconnection. In that framework, greater awareness becomes the foundation for healthier relationships, stronger communities and more responsible choices.
Choosing Connection Over Isolation
“We’re inviting humanity to cross the threshold into a more conscious future,” Farrell said.
That invitation reflected a central theme of the event: choosing connection over isolation, hope over fear and presence over passivity. Farrell and Walsch encouraged participants to consider how personal choices can influence families, workplaces, communities and institutions.
The session concluded with an open question-and-answer period, allowing attendees to engage directly with both speakers and bring their own experiences into the broader discussion.

Hearts for Humanity continued that mission by creating a public space for reflection, dialogue and collective imagination. Rather than presenting conscious change as the work of a select few, the event emphasized the role individuals can play in building cultures of generosity, stewardship and belonging.
