On Thursday, OWN released the full-length trailer for Ava DuVernay’s highly anticipated romance anthology series Cherish The Day.  The show’s two-night premiere dates are less than a month away–airing on February 11th and 12th.

The first season of the series is considered Chapter One, and each episode spans a single day; an intimate glimpse into the relationship of one couple.  According to the synopsis, “the narrative will unfold to reveal significant moments in a relationship that compel us to hold true to the ones we love, from the extraordinary to the everyday.”

The couple, played by Xosha Roquermore and Alano Miller, meet and fall in love in Los Angeles, with the entire eight episode season covering five years. Anne-Marie Johnson, Kellee Stewart, Cicely Tyson, and Michael Beach also star in the first season.

Cherish The Day is produced by ARRAY Filmworks and Harpo Films, in association with Warner Horizon Scripted Television. Oprah Winfrey, Ava DuVernay, Tanya Hamilton, and Paul Garnes will executive produce.

In the two-minute trailer, we watch an alluring couple in the midst of a budding romance, while Sade’s classic song Cherish The Day plays in the background. As an ideal romantic trailer should be, it is short, luscious, and leaves us craving more.

Watch the trailer below. Cherish The Day premieres on OWN Tuesday, February 11th at 10 p.m. EST and Wednesday, February 12th at 8 p.m. EST.
